Locks of Love Event

Rochester, N.Y.—Students from Martha Brown Middle School in Fairport will be visiting the Spa at the Del Monte on Sunday, March 30 to donate locks from hair cuts to Locks of Love. The spa’s salon staff will volunteer their time at 9 a.m. before opening for business.

The 7 students getting haircuts, all females, have been growing their hair since last year when their health teacher, Maura Kerkezies, asked them to participate. This is the first time the Spa at the Del Monte hosts this event.

The Spa at the Del Monte is located at The Del Monte Lodge, A Renaissance Hotel & Spa in Pittsford. Both hotel and spa are owned and operated by the E.J. Del Monte Corporation.
