Rochester Marriott Hosts Greece Civic Awards
Rochester, NY—The Rochester
Marriott Airport Hotel will be hosting the 2008 Greece Chamber of Commerce
Civic Awards Banquet this Friday, April 25.
The hotel, managed by the E.J. Del Monte Corporation, will also be an
award recipient at this year’s ceremony.
The
Greece Chamber of Commerce will be giving the Rochester Marriott the award for
Renovation of a Large Existing Space. In
December 2007 a massive renovation was completed totaling $12 million. As a result the hotel now has a new and
larger lobby, redesigned guestrooms, an in-house market and a new
900-square-foot fitness facility. The
ballroom was also renovated and now boasts vaulted ceilings, cascades of warm
colors and vivid chandeliers. The hotel
has been part of the Greece Community since 1979.
The awards ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. in
the hotel’s Ridge Ballroom. More information on the ceremony can be found at
