Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport Announces $1.75 Million Renovation
- Renovation to Guest Rooms, Lobby, and Fitness Center to be complete in February -
Albany, NY - A $1.75 million renovation project is underway at The Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport.
Guest rooms will be re-designed and feature new bedding, contemporary furniture, new carpeting, and wall coverings. The lobby of the hotel will be renovated to provide guests a new café concept as well as ‘The Market’, which offers snack and beverages 24 hours a day. In addition, the current fitness facility will be renovated.
"Our goal is to convey the new look and feel that redefines Courtyard by Marriott," says Felix Ramos, General Manager. "We are fully committed to delivering the quality, service and overall experience that would exceed our guests’ expectations."
This is the first major renovation to the hotel. In 2002, bedding was renovated along with some furniture and carpeting. Opened in 1997, the Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport features 78 rooms on three floors. The hotel will remain open during the renovation, which is expected to be complete by February 2009.
"Many of our guests are surprised that such a new property would undergo such a significant renovation," says Ramos.
