Greece Hotels Honored for Excellence

Rochester, N.Y. - The Rochester Airport Marriott Hotel, Residence Inn by Marriott Rochester West/Greece, and Courtyard by Marriott Rochester West/Greece, all properties of E.J. Del Monte Corporation and all located in the town of Greece, were recently honored with awards given by the Marriott International during ceremonies held later in 2008 and in March 2009.

Rochester Airport Marriott received the Partnership Circle Award, given to franchise organizations that embrace Marriott brand initiatives, are associate focused, invest in hotel products and provide outstanding service as measured through Marriott’s Guest Satisfaction Surveys.

This is the first time an E.J. Del Monte hotel has been honored with the Partnership Award. Ernest Del Monte, founder of the corporation which operates nine local Marriot-brand hotels, accepted the award along with his wife Thelma Del Monte, on behalf of Rochester Airport Marriott Hotel.

The hotel was also recognized with the Service Excellence Award for receiving outstanding overall guest satisfaction scores. The award is given to properties who achieve guest satisfaction scores within the top 2.5 percent of all Marriott Hotels & Resorts.

The Residence Inn by Marriot Rochester West/Greece received the Residence Inn by Marriott Gold Award for achieving Gold status with overall guest satisfaction scores throughout 2008. In order to receive this award, the Residence Inn received scores within the top 10 percent of all Residence Inn by Marriott hotels.

Courtyard by Marriott Rochester West/Greece received a Courtyard by Marriot Gold Award for achieving Gold Circle Status for having overall guest satisfaction scores throughout 2008, receiving scores in the top 10 percent of all Courtyard by Marriott hotels.
