Stubblebine Honored With Diamond General Manager Award
Rochester, N.Y.-Don Stubblebine, general manager of Courtyard by Marriott Brighton, a hotel operated by the E.J. Del Monte Corporation, received the prestigious Diamond General Manager Award from Marriott International in New Orleans. His hotel was also honored for excellence.
For the first time Stubblebine was awarded a Diamond General Manager Award, given to general managers who achieved top performance in overall hotel leadership, team building and development, financial management, sales and services leadership, and community service. He was one of five general managers to receive this award nationwide.
Courtyard Brighton also received a Gold Circle Award for achieving overall guest satisfaction scores within the top 10 percent of all Courtyard by Marriott hotels throughout 2008.
Thirteen other E.J. Del Monte-operated hotels received awards from Marriott International at recent conferences in Indian Wells, Calif last October as well as New Orleans earlier this year.
