Erie Grill Receives 2009 Four-Diamond Award

Rochester, N.Y. - The Erie Grill in Pittsford received today the Four Diamond Award from AAA, during a ceremony at the New York Wine and Culinary Center in Canandaigua.

This marks the fifth year the restaurant has been recognized with this honor. The Erie Grill was the only restaurant in Monroe County to receive the prestigious Four Diamond rating.

Sustainable farming is a key component in providing guests with the freshest ingredients. The restaurant partners with local farms to obtain a variety of products. This not only allows The Erie Grill to minimize its carbon footprint by using shorter delivery routes, but also helps ensure it is not acquiring products that have been over farmed or fished.

The restaurant is located in The Del Monte Lodge, A Renaissance Hotel and Spa and is led by Executive Chef John Freezee.
